Samuel E. Renfro Samuel E. Renfro, age 79, a resident of Trenton, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2013, at Indian Hills, Chillicothe, Missouri. Samuel was born the son of Samuel R. and Beulah (Payne) Renfro on June 22, 1933, in Trenton, Missouri. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Samuel attended the United Pentecostal Church, Trenton, Missouri. He was a member of the American Legion Major Dale Stepp Post 31. Samuel worked as a crew leader for MoDOT for 40 years. He enjoyed playing pool, hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by two sons, Ricky Renfro of Trenton, Missouri, and Scott Renfro of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; one daughter, Trena Keller and husband Virgil of Chillicothe, Missouri; three grandchildren, Michael Renfro and wife Natasha, Angela Keller, and Ethan Keller all of Chillicothe, Missouri; two great grandchildren, Liam and Faith Renfro of Chillicothe; and one brother, Hollie Renfro and wife Glenda of Jamesport, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents; and previous wife, Janice McMillan. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, May 29, 2013, one hour prior to the service at 10:00 a.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, May 28, 2013, from 12 noon until 5:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Spina Bifida Association and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
