Ruth Elaine Hein

Ruth Elaine Hein Ruth Hein, age 90, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at the North Missouri Baptist Home, Chillicothe, Missouri. Ruth was born the daughter of John and Florence (Vandergon) Cook on November 16, 1922, in Belle Creek, Minnesota. Ruth graduated from Chillicothe High School, Chillicothe, Missouri in 1939. She was united in marriage to Charles Hein Sr. on November 23, 1941, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He preceded her in death on July 17, 2003. She was a member of The First Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. She taught Sunday School classes, was superintendent of the Jr. Department of the Sunday School, took care of the nursery for years, and sang in the church choir. Ruth was a 4-H club leader, she taught sewing to many of the 4-H children. Ruth was an accomplished seamstress. She made clothes for her family, quilted and cross-stitched. She was always busy. Survivors include one son Darrell Hein and wife Kim of Lake Lotawana, Missouri; one daughter Diane Cleary and husband Randy of Odessa, Missouri; one brother John Cook and wife Barbara of Chillicothe; one sister Rose Marie Tidik and husband Nick of Burbank, California. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Charles Hein Sr.; one son Charles Hein Jr.; one sister Jean Cook Miles. Services will be held at the First Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, June 22, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the First Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, June 22, 2013, at 9:30 a.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, June 21, 2013, from 12 until 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the North Missouri Baptist Home and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
