Roylene Barker

Roylene Barker, age 61, a resident of Utica, Missouri, passed away Thursday, July 22, 2010 at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. Roylene was born on January 16, 1949, the daughter of Roy L. and Allene G. (James) Mathes in Kirksville, Missouri. She was a 1967 graduate of Kirksville High School in Kirksville, Missouri. On July 20, 1969, she married Rick A. Barker in Kirksville, Missouri. Roylene worked at Midwest Quality Gloves in the Shipping and Packaging Department. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Roylene is survived by her mother, Allene of Kirksville, Missouri; husband Rick of Utica, Missouri; one son, Terry Beets of Chillicothe, Missouri; three daughters, Lisa Todd and husband Chris of Tina, Missouri, Dawn Fisher and husband Scott of Hale, Missouri, Helen Rene Harkins and husband Randy of Utica, Missouri; one brother Gary Mathes and wife Alice Kay of Sperry, Missouri; three sisters, Barb Miller of Kirksville, Missouri, Anita Barker and husband Cliston of Kirksville, Missouri, and Brenda Mason and husband Bruce of Kirksville, Missouri; 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father and one sister, Linda Longberger. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 26, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Lindley Funeral Home in Chillicothe, Missouri. There will be a scheduled family visitation on Sunday evening from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Lindley Funeral Home in Chillicothe, Missouri. Friends may call on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment and a Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at East Center Cemetery in Kirksville, Missouri on Monday, July 26, 2010.
