Roy Wayne Ummond

Roy Drummond Roy Drummond, age 79, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at his residence. Roy was born the son of Charles Everett and Bonnie (Cook) Drummond on August 24, 1934, in Rural Linn County, Missouri. He worked as a Heavy Machine Operator for the Highway Department. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, and hunting. Survivors include one son, Joe Drummond and wife Lori of Liberty, Missouri; one daughter, Debbie Hall and husband Alan of Plattsburg, Missouri; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one sister, Phyllis Dutton of Omaha, Nebraska; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; twin sons, Michael and Mitchell Drummond; two brothers, Charles and Herbert Drummond; one brother-in-law, George Dutton; and two sisters-in-law, Opal Drummond and Mary Alice Drummond. Graveside services will be held at the Wheeling Cemetery, Wheeling, Missouri, on Saturday, August 2, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, August 2, 2014, one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, August 1, 2014, from 12 noon until 5:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
