Ross Alan Hopkins, age 67, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on November 11, 2020, at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe, Missouri.
Ross was born the son of Theodore and Betty Lou (Morgan) Hopkins on April 15, 1953, in Ypsilanti, Michigan. He was a 1971 graduate of Mt. Morris High School. Ross was united in marriage to Margaret Covert on October 15, 2016, in Davison, Michigan. She survives of the home. He worked as a semi driver at the Pepsi Company. Ross was a member of Richfield Church of the Nazarene, Mt. Morris, Michigan. He enjoyed hunting, camping, and traveling with his wife.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret of the home; two sons, Jeremy Ross Hopkins of Millington, Michigan, and Tony and wife Ashlee of Chillicothe, Missouri; two daughters, Tracy Congdon of Bay City, Michigan, and Lisa Ewald and husband Ben of Millington, Michigan; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers, Jack Hopkins and wife Cindy of Indiana, and Bill Hopkins and wife Carol of Mt. Morris, Michigan; and one sister, Jill Hopkins of Davison, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents; one grandson, Jacob Ryan Hopkins; and one brother, Tim Hopkins.
Services will be held at a later date in Michigan. Memorial contributions may be made to Huntington Disease Society of America and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601. Online condolences may be made at www.lindleyfuneralhome.com .
