Rosa "Lucille" Murray Rosa "Lucille" Murray, age 90, a resident of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2018, at NorthCare Hospice House, North Kansas City, Missouri. Lucille was born the daughter of Glen Albert and Eva Mae (McBee) McKnight on September 20, 1927, in Braymer, Missouri. She was a 1945 graduate of Liberty High School. Lucille worked as a checker for Safeway for many years. She was a member of the Pythian Sisters #145 of Liberty, Missouri. Survivors include one son, Thomas "Tom" Murray and wife Becky of Gladstone, Missouri; three daughters, Cynthia Puckett of Prairie Village, Kansas, Sharon Sue Crum and husband Bill of Liberty, Missouri, and Karen Lou Brane and husband Jim of Kansas City, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Kristin Lovell, Blake Crum, Brian Brane, Amy Pearson, Jimmi Shiers, Thomas Puckett, and Austin Puckett; eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Leo, Roger, Nelson, Harold, and Randall McKnight; and one son-in-law, Hunter Puckett. Memorial services will be held at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, on Saturday, March 10, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. There is no scheduled visitation. Friends may call at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, on Friday, March 9, 2018, from 12 noon until 5:00 p.m. Inurnment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Braymer, Missouri.
