Ronald Lee Timmons
Ronald Lee Timmons, age 74, a resident of Walnut Shade, Missouri, a former resident of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at Forsyth Nursing and Rehab, Forsyth, Missouri.
Ronald was born the son of Cecil and D. Frances (Neely) Timmons on May 10, 1946, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He was a 1964 graduate of Linneus High School. He served in the Missouri National Guard. Ronald was united in marriage to Betty Jane McMullen on June 3, 1974, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She preceded him in death on December 9, 1997. He was then united in marriage to Florence Maxine Bilyeu on September 23, 2000 in Walnut Shade, Missouri. She survives of the home. Ronald worked as a truck driver for Consolidated Freight Ways for many years, and was a 3 million mile accident free safe driver. He enjoyed country music, playing guitar, and horses. Ronald was a member of Walnut Shade General Baptist Church, Walnut Shade, Missouri.
Survivors include his wife, Florence Maxine Timmons of the home; one son, Travis Lee Timmons and wife Melissa of Kansas City, Missouri; three grandchildren, Thea Timmons, Lianna Timmons, and Clara Timmons; eleven additional grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother, Marvin Timmons and wife Lana of Linneus, Missouri; two sisters, Mary Allen Timmons of Brookfield, Missouri, and Brenda Search and husband John of Linneus, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Betty Jane Timmons.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 19, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Lindley Funeral Home Chillicothe, Missouri. A visitation will be held on Monday, April 19, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will be held at Wheeling Cemetery, Wheeling, Missouri.
