Ronald Lee McLaughlin
Ronald "Ronnie" Lee McLaughlin, age 70, a resident of Laredo, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2019, at his residence.
Ronald was born the son of Wilbur "Owen" and Lois M. (McLain) McLaughlin on November 15, 1948. He was a 1966 graduate of Laredo High School. He served in the United States Army during Vietnam. Ronald was united in marriage to Lynda Marshall on July 31, 1971. She survives of the home. He worked as a farmer for McLaughlin Farms all of his life. He was a member of the Elks Lodge #656, Chillicothe, Missouri. He was also a member of the Chula COOP, MFA Boards, and Laredo R-7 School Board. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Lynda McLaughlin, of the home; four daughters, Amy Lewis and husband Gary of Laredo, Missouri, Sheila Thompson and husband Russ of Laredo, Missouri, Melissa Williams and husband Toby of Laredo, Missouri, and Jeni Moore and husband Cody of Laredo, Missouri; ten grandchildren, Carlee Johnson and Fiancé Zach Quinn, Mady Williams, Tanner Williams, Cooper Lewis, Rylee Johnson, Emma Thompson, Lainie Lewis, Peyton Moore, Brady Moore, and Lauren Jones; one brother, Ralph Eugene McLaughlin and wife Marilyn of Kansas City, Missouri; one sister, JoAnne Seward of Trenton, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Linda Kay McLaughlin; brother, Donald Ray McLaughlin; and grandson, Jackson Lee Lewis.
Funeral services will be held at Galt Christian Church, Galt, Missouri, on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. A scheduled visitation will be held at the Galt Christian Church, Galt, Missouri, on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friends may call the Lindley Funeral Home, Laredo, Missouri, on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, from 12 noon until 3:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Alpha Cemetery, Laredo, Missouri.
