Ronald Gene Price
Ronald Gene Price, age 79, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2019, at Morningside Center, Chillicothe, Missouri.
Ronald was born the son of Erwin and Ethel (Hart) Price on November 12, 1939, in Sullivan County, Missouri. He was a 1957 graduate of Green City High School. He was united in marriage to Betty Frazier on April 7, 1962, in Milan, Missouri. She survives of the home. Ronald worked for L & O Sales, and later managed Country Carpets for several years. He loved the sales and retail business. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. Ronald was also a member of the Chillicothe Elks Lodge #656, where he served as an officer, the Chillicothe Car Club, and the Kirksville Car Club. He enjoyed showing his pickup truck and attending car shows.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Price of the home; one son, Rodney Price and wife Lori of St. Joseph, Missouri; two grandchildren, Sydney Price of St. Joseph, Missouri, and Zackery Price of St. Joseph, Missouri; two brothers, Charles Price and wife Meri of Trenton, Missouri, and Donald Price and wife Nancy of Kirksville, Missouri; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Bonnett of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Judy Frazier of Chillicothe, Missouri; and two brothers-in-law, Francis Frazier of Gorin, Missouri, and Paul Frazier of Hurdland, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers-in-law, Gary Frazier and Richard Bonnett.
Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, February 9, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. A scheduled visitation will be held at the First Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, February 9, 2019, one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, February 8, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Edgewood Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the KU Medical - Alzheimer's Disease Center Research.
