Ronald Dean Jones

Ronald "Ronnie" Dean Jones, age 60, resident of Independence, Missouri, went home with his heavenly father on August 23, 2011 at North Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri. Ronald "Ronnie" Dean was born son of Irving Jones and Hazel Wilson Jones, on July 18, 1951, in Chillicothe, Missouri. Ronnie worked as a steel fabricator for Havens Steel for twenty-five year before retiring. He enjoyed hunting in the Chillicothe, Missouri bottoms. He leaves behind a daughter, Jessica Kristen Jones of Independence, Missouri; four sisters, Brenda Vote of Independence, Missouri; Cheryl Brown of Independence, Missouri; Jennifer Samek of Independence, Missouri, Carmen Casey of Sugar Creek, Missouri; one brother, Mark Jones of Independence, Missouri; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents. A special "Thank You," to a good friend, and constant companion, William "Billy" Brown of Independence, Missouri. And Luke Haynes who he loved very much. Funeral services will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. Visitation will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, August 26, 2011 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri.
