Ronald Lee Hamilton, age 84, a resident of Jamesport, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at his residence.
Ronald was born the son of George and Ina (Meeker) Hamilton on March 14, 1938, in Sullivan County Missouri. He was a life- long resident of Jamesport, Missouri. He was a mechanic by trade as he owned and operated the Jamesport MFA station for many years. He finished his career with Landes Oil Company in 2018, retiring at the age of 80. He loved dirt track racing as he was involved from 1969 until 2000. Fishing, hunting and spending time with his grandkids were his favorite ways to pass the time.
Survivors include three sons, Rick Hamilton of Kansas City, Missouri, Gib Wray and wife, Kelly, of Trenton, Missouri, Denten Wray and wife, Jamie, of Jamesport, Missouri; three daughters, Kayla Wray of Jamsport, Missouri, Paiten Sackrey and husband, Brad, of Mooresville, Missouri, and Keiten Stout and husband, Donovan, of Trenton, Missouri; eleven grandchildren, Oaklyn, Belah, Gavin, Jentri, Brionna, Kaylee, Emma, Jeremy, Miranda, Holly and Cory; five great grandchildren, Memphis, Remley, Lola, Mia, and Cole; one brother, Willard Hamilton and wife, Ruth, of Laredo, Missouri; and five sisters, Betty Ralls of Trenton, Missouri, Sondra Boyd and husband, Gene, of Humphreys, Missouri, Judy Shuler of Trenton, Missouri, Patty Mclaughlin of Jamesport, Missouri and Birdie Wilson of Trenton, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Jan and Donald; five sisters, Janice, Nancy, Mary Lou, Gloria Jean, and Lorene; and one daughter, Kelly.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Jamesport City Park, Jamesport, Missouri, on Sunday, June 12, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Memorial contributions in Ronald's honor may be made to Children's Mercy Hospital and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, PO Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri, 64601.
