Ronald F Bowyer Ronald F Bowyer, age 82, a resident of Meadville, Missouri, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2016, at his residence, Meadville, Missouri. Ronald was born the son of Fay and Mary (Longwell) Bowyer on July 14, 1933, in Browning, Missouri. He and Cathy were united in marriage on July 10, 1983, she survives of the home. Ronald was a 1951 graduate of Meadville High School. He was a long standing member of the Meadville Baptist Church where he was the Sunday School Superintendent for eighteen years. Ronald had been helping on the family farm since he graduated high school but his dream was to farm full-time. In 1957 he was able to move to Meadville and farm full-time, and worked for a few different famers until 1972. At that time he also became a Licensed Real Estate Broker, Licensed Insurance Agent and land appraiser. Ronald was a charter member of the Meadville Lions Club, an MFA Oil and MFA Agriculture Delegate. He was also a Lewis Seed Dealer. Ronald enjoyed sight-seeing, traveling, and spending winters in Florida. Ronald was an avid sports fan, especially of Meadville Eagles, and anytime his grandchildren were involved. Survivors also include: two daughters, Natalie Holcer and husband Mike of Meadville, MO, and Jenny Collins and husband Jeff of Chillicothe, MO; their children include Shelby and Audrey Holcer of Meadville and Jadon and Jace Collins of Chillicothe; daughter Valerie Campbell of Chillicothe, MO, and her children Nichole Lauhoff and husband Greg of Marceline, MO, Jared VanHorn and wife Katie of Chillicothe, MO; other grandchildren include Dustin Whorton and wife Tiffany of Trenton, MO, Heather Fletcher and husband Glen of Columbia, MO, and Wendi Erickson of Columbia, MO; great-grandchildren, Brooke and Ellie Lauhoff, Charlie Sufia, Cash and Mack VanHorn, Timberlyn, Konner and Kayla Whorton, and Zander and Xeven Erickson; sister-in-law Lucille Bowyer of Wheeling, MO; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews; and several great-great-nieces and nephews. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Teresa Whorton; infant sister Twilah; and two brothers, Donald and Raymond Bowyer. A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 1, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Meadville, Missouri, a private family graveside service and interment will be held at the Meadville Cemetery following the service. Family visitation will be Sunday, January 31, 2016, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Meadville, Missouri. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, January 31, 2016, form 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
