Ronald Baxley, age 75 a resident of Columbia, Missouri, formerly of Hale, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at his residence. Ronald was born the son of Floyd and Gladys (Noah) Baxley on April 21, 1940, in Bosworth, Missouri. He served in the United States Navy. Ronald worked for the Boil Maker Union Local 83 of Kansas City, Missouri. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and barbecuing. Survivors include two sons, Chris Gravitt and wife Tasha of Columbia, Missouri, and Jeremy Baxley of Iowa; one daughter, Sarah York and husband William of Columbia, Missouri; four grandchildren; two brothers, Michael Baxley of Moberly, Missouri, and Allen Baxley and wife Dana of Salisbury, Missouri; one sister, Marlene Cunningham and husband Robert of Moberly, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and one sister. Graveside services will be held at the Elliott Grove Cemetery Brunswick, Missouri, on Saturday, May 2, 2015, at 2:30 p.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Hale, Missouri, on Saturday, May 2, 2015, one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Hale, Missouri, on Saturday, May 2, 2015, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
