Roger Von Hicks Roger Von Hicks, age 63, a resident of Richmond, Missouri, formerly of Nevada, Missouri, passed away on June 20, 2018, at Shirkey Nursing and Rehab Center in Richmond, Missouri. He was the firstborn son of Von Keith and Earline (Hess) Hicks, born December 31, 1954, in Springfield, Missouri. He attended school in Preston, Missouri, and was a 1972 graduate of Braymer C-4 High School. He attended NWMSU. He was an avid fan of the KC Chiefs, KC Royals, MU Tigers, NWMSU Bearcats and high school sports, especially the Braymer Bobcats. He enjoyed rock music, sports of all kinds, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents Rossie and Blanche Hicks, and Taylor and Louise Hess and niece Kary Brower. He is survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, Ross and Vickie Hicks of Cowgill, Missouri, Darren and Lori Hicks of Cowgill, Missouri, and Brian and Tary Hicks of Braymer, Missouri; nieces and nephews, Tim and Veta Hill and Maddox, Adam and Jennifer Hill, Mikayla, Dalton, Jake & Addie, Ciara and Troy Hoyt, Braya and Dan Qualman and Cai, Brenna Newsome and Silas, Brett Hicks, Ambrielle Hicks and Andrew Hennager, Liam and Ryla, Dillon Hicks, Taran Hicks, JP Brower and Crystal Barker and Findley, and Jordyn Meseberg. A scheduled visitation will be held at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, on Thursday, June 28, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, on Thursday, June 28, 2018, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Private family services and inurnment will be held at a later date.
