Roger Bailey, age 82, a resident of Chillicothe, MO, passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021, at his daughter's home in DeSoto, Kansas.
Roger was born the son of Brice James and Oleta Irene (DeLozier) Bailey on February 15, 1939 in Blairstown, Missouri.
Roger was a 1957 graduate of Concordia, Missouri High School.  He graduated from Central Missouri State College, Warrensburg, Missouri in 1962.  He worked in accounts receivable for Churchill Trucking, Chillicothe, and Cook Paint, Kansas City.  He demonstrated his servant's heart through his church ministries. He was an avid bowler and had bowled several perfect games.
Survivors include one son, Mark Bailey and wife, Cheryl of Olathe, Kansas; one daughter, Kim Blankenship and husband, Tim of DeSoto, Kansas; two step-sons, Bub Nauman and wife, Linda and Jim Nauman and wife, April; one step-daughter, Staci Murphy and husband, Shawn; 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one sister, Lois Dankenbring of Gilbert, Arizona.  He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Patricia Ann (Woods) Bailey and second wife, Barbara (Webster) Bailey.
Funeral services will be held at Highview Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri on Friday, October 22, 2021 at 10:00 a.m.  A visitation will be held at Highview Baptist Church on Friday, October 22, 2021 from 10:00a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m.  Friends may call at Lindley Funeral Home, on Thursday, October 21st, 2021 from 9:00 am until 5:00 p.m.  Burial will be in Edgewood Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Highview Baptist Church or St. Jude Children's Hospital and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601. Online condolences may be made at www.lindleyfuneralhomes.com .
