Robert D. Tillotson

Robert D. Tillotson, age 89, a resident of Trenton, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2012, at Wright Memorial Hospital, Trenton, Missouri. Robert was born the son of Dave Allen and Mabel (Sharree) Tillotson on June 3, 1922, in Nevada, Iowa. He was united in marriage to Patricia. She preceded him in death. He worked as a butcher for Charles City Locker in Charles City, Iowa for over 40 years. Robert also served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Robert loved fishing and woodworking. Robert is survived by one son, David Allen Tillotson of Osage, Iowa; four daughters, Josephine Roe and husband Richard of Laredo, Missouri, Janice Session and husband Gary of Arizona, Jane Schmidt and husband Rick of Augusta, Wisconsin, and Jenell Wad of Nashua, Iowa; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews and great great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; one grandchild; and one great grandchild. Memorial services will be held on Friday, April 6, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Lindley Funeral Home, Laredo, Missouri.
