Robert Lynn Gray, age 66, a resident of Polo, Missouri, passed away at his home on Friday, March 5, 2010. Bob was born on November 21, 1943 in Caldwell County, Missouri to Lynn Adair and Virginia Lee (Poor) Gray. On August 6, 1966, he married Fern Reva Clariday. She preceded him in death on June 11, 1984. Bob was a member of the Church of Christ in Hamilton, Missouri. He served in the Army. He was a member of the Hamilton Lakeview Golf Course and liked to bowl and golf. Bob loved his family and community and was well-known in the area. He lived his entire life in the Cowgill/Polo area. Survivors include his two sons Billy and Lisa (Barnett) Gray of Kingston, Missouri; Shawn Gray and Terri Templeton of Polo, Missouri, and daughter, Shelby (Gray) McKee and husband, JR McKee of Lawson, Missouri; sister Anne and Rex Underwood of Cameron, Missouri; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one on the way; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and wife. Services will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at Pitts Funeral Home in Braymer, Missouri at 1:00 p.m. There will be a family visitation on Monday, March 8, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Cowgill Cemetery in Cowgill, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cowgill Cemetery and may be left at the funeral home or mailed to Pitts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
