Robert F. Harford

Robert F. "Bob" Harford, age 83, a resident of Omaha, Nebraska passed away at Lakeside Hospital in Omaha on Sunday, July 4, 2010. He was born on November 18, 1926 in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Gerald and Etta (Teter) Harford. Bob served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II. Bob was married to his wife of 61 years, Marjorie (Dupy) Harford. She survives of the home. He was also a retired General Electric sales representative. Survivors include his wife, Marjorie of the home; two sons John Harford and wife Marcia of Derby, Kansas, Jim Harford and wife Carrie of Omaha, Nebraska; one daughter Nancy Worrell and husband David of Andover, Kansas; one brother Eugene Harford and wife Wanda of Halstad, Kansas; eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at Edgewood Cemetery in Chillicothe, Missouri on Friday, July 9, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Friends may call from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 8, 2010 at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Center of Midlands, the Multiple Sclerosis Society, or the Shriners Hospital for Children.
