Robert Earl Dillard, age 64, a resident of Laredo, Missouri, passed away at his residence on Saturday, November 20, 2010. He was born the son of Earl Elgin Dillard and Marjorie Alice Claypole on June 20, 1946 in Trenton, Missouri. He was a 1964 graduate from Laredo High School. On August 6, 1966, he married Theresa May in Kansas City, Missouri. She survives him of the home. He was employed with Gulley Transportation and Bently Trucking as a truck driver. He was a self-employed trucker as well. Robert was also a member of the Laredo Christian Church. He is survived by one sister, Jackie Mack; three daughters, Mona Loyd and husband Larry of Laredo, Missouri, Laura Callihan of St. Joseph, Missouri, and Cindy Lanoie and husband Bill of Gr. Prairie, Texas; seven grandchildren, Craig Loyd of Trenton, Missouri, Kaleb Shiflett of Linneus, Missouri, Kari Jobe and Chris of Jefferson City, Missouri, Alaysha Pool and Darby of Olathe, Kansas, Harleyn Smith of Laredo, Missouri, Megan Lanoie and Hannah Lanoie of Gr. Prairie, Texas; and 3 Great-Grandchildren, Haleyn Smith of Laredo, Missouri, Sara Pool of Benton, LA, and Fenix Pool of Olathe, Kansas. He is preceded in death by his parents, and one son-in-law, Toby Shiflett. Services will be held at the Laredo Christian Church in Laredo, Missouri on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. There will be a scheduled family visitation Tuesday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Lindley Funeral Home, in Laredo, Missouri. Friends may call from 12 noon until 9 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be held in the Humphreys Cemetery in Humphreys, Missouri.
