Robert "Bob" Jean Lowe Robert "Bob" Jean Lowe, 83, of Cleveland, Texas passed away on Monday, March 28, 2016. Bob was born on Tuesday, September 6, 1932 in Wheeling, Missouri, the son of Wilmer Weckman Lowe and Katherine Louise Utter Lowe, both of whom have preceded him in death. He was a 1950 graduate of Wheeling High School. He was united in marriage to Gwendolyn Darlene Best on September 3, 1952. She survives in Blue Springs, Missouri. Bob was a Sergeant in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a past deacon and member of the Wheeling Christian Church and retired as an over-the-road truck driver for Churchill's Truck Lines. Bob was also preceded in death by his twin daughters, Sheila Raye and Shelly Gaye Lowe; brothers, Lawrence and Marshall Lowe. Survivors left to cherish his memory are his four children, Robert Jeffery Lowe and wife Susan, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; Sheree' Roxanne Lowe, Blue Springs, Missouri; Barry Jean Lowe, Austin, Texas and Terry Dean Lowe, Chula, Missouri; one brother, Jimmy Utter Lowe and wife Donna, Wheeling, Missouri; one sister, Kathleen Louise Lowe Linkemann and husband Donald, West Point, Illinois; three grandchildren, Jennifer Elaine Wheeler and husband Cory, Lee's Summit, Missouri; James Michael Lowe and wife Katie, Chillicothe, Missouri; Brooke Nicole Lowe High and husband Jamie, Lawson, MO; four step-grandchildren, Robert O'Connell and wife Jessica, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; Vanessa O'Connell Hamas and husband, Sean, Pensacola, Florida; Josiah O'Connell, Edmond, Oklahoma; Jonathan O'Connell and wife Tara, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; seven great-grandchildren, Mathias Aaron Rhodes, Cambridge, Trinity and Cayden Wheeler, Lee's Summit, Missouri; Benjamin Lee, Brayden Alexander & Bryson James, Lawson, Missouri; four step great grand-children, Jadyn, Gracie, Lilyana and Ezra Hamas, Pensacola, Florida along with other loving family and treasured friends. Bob attended a Cowboy Church in Cleveland, Texas and would ask everyone to wear jeans or dress casual to honor his memory. A memorial service will be held at the Wheeling Christian Church, Wheeling, Missouri, on Saturday, May 28, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. There is no scheduled family visitation.
