Robert William Beres, age 32, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2011. Bob was born the son of Dennis and Heidi (Van Calligan) Beres on September 27, 1978 in Madison, Wisconsin. Bob was a 1997 graduate of Middleton High School in Middleton, Wisconsin. Bob graduated from The University of Wisconsin at Whitewater in 2002 with a Bachelors of Science in Geography. On November 1, 2003 he married Audrey Slayton in St. Genevieve, Missouri. She survives of the home. Since moving to Chillicothe in 2008 he worked as a surveyor for Hattesohl Surveying in Trenton, Missouri. Bob truly enjoyed being a camper and counselor at Camp Webb at Wautoma, Wisconsin where he met his wife Audrey. He loved working with youth at New Life Church in Cottage Grove, Wisconsin. He loved sports and being outdoors. He played the electric bass in the band Dirgus, and at numerous churches he attended. His life and relationships reflected his love of Christ. Survivors also include: one daughter, Lucy Mae Beres (8 months) of Chillicothe, Missouri; his mother Heidi and step-father Steve Pestor of Dickinson, North Dakota; his father Dennis Beres and step-mother Lisa Pulver of Verona, Wisconsin. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents; Richard and Ardis Van Calligan; his paternal grandmother; Kathryn Anderson and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Mel Anderson. Funeral services will be held at Ryan Funeral Home in Verona, Wisconsin 220 Enterprise Drive on Monday, April 4, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. There will be a scheduled family visitation on Sunday, April 3, 2011 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at the Ryan Funeral Home.
