Riley Hunter Minnis Riley Hunter Minnis, age 22, a resident of Marionville, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2015, in Clever, Missouri. Riley was born the son of Cory Minnis and Katrin Scott on December 1, 1992, in North Kansas City, Missouri. He was a 2011 graduate of Marionville High School, Marionville, Missouri. After graduating high school he attended Crowder Community College, Neosho, Missouri for one year. Riley worked as a shipping coordinator for Bank Source, Republic, Missouri. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Joplin, Missouri. While in school Riley played drums in band, soccer and was a member of the Computer Club. Survivors include parents, Cory Minnis and wife Leslie of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Katrin Herd and husband Douglas of Marionville, Missouri; two brothers Marty Minnis of Marionville, Missouri and Drew Minnis of Chillicothe, Missouri; two step-brothers Preston and Payton Herd of Springfield, Missouri; paternal grandparents, Cliff and Betty Minnis of Dawn, Missouri; maternal grandparents Alan and MaryAnn Scott of Chillicothe, Missouri; maternal grandfather, Les Herd of Marionville, Missouri; paternal great-grandmother Martha Minnis of Utica, Missouri; paternal great-grandmother Evelyn Sensenich of Braymer, Missouri; uncles Rusty Scott of Kansas City, Missouri, Shawn Minnis and Lovey of Oak Grove, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandfather Eugene Minnis; paternal great-grandfather Kenneth Sensenich; maternal great-grandparents Jim and Clara Scott; maternal great-grandparents Claudia Delaney and Woody Templeman; maternal great grandmother, Linda Herd; Aunt Kelly Anderson; and cousins Morgan Holder and Tanner Anderson. Funeral services will be held at the United Methodist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. There is no scheduled visitation. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, March 10, 2015, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. There will be a family visitation at the United Methodist Church, Republic, Missouri, on Friday, 13, 2015, at 6:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri.
