Ricky Loyd Gibson Ricky Loyd Gibson, age 61, a resident of Braymer, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2014, at his residence. Ricky was born the son of Nelson Dale and Fannie Viola (Cobb) Gibson on January 14, 1953, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He was a 1972 graduate of Braymer High School. Ricky then graduated from Grand River Technical School, Chillicothe, Missouri, with a degree in Diesel Equipment Technology. He worked for Lyons Implement International, Richmond, Missouri, Sharp's Chevrolet, Hamilton, Missouri, and drove Semi's. Ricky worked as an Equipment Operator for Consumers Oil for 19 years until his retirement in 2008. His most recent job was helping on the Sprouse Brother's Farm in Braymer, Missouri. Survivors include his mother, Fannie Viola Gibson of Chillicothe, Missouri; three brothers, Nelson Wayne Gibson, Sr. and wife Ann of Anchorage, Alaska, Donald Gibson and wife Caren of Braymer, Missouri, and Gary Gibson and wife Vickie of Braymer, Missouri; one sister, Marilyn Spears and husband Dennis of Chillicothe, Missouri; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Norman Franklin Gibson. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, April 8, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, April 8, 2014, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be at Plainview Cemetery, Chula, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation and/or the Braymer Lions Club and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
