Richard Lee “Dick” Williams, age 80, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at his residence.

Dick was born the son of Ralph Richard and Florence Velma (Elliott) Williams on April 28, 1942 in Emporia, Kansas. He was united in marriage to Linda Youngs on July 8, 1962 in Emporia, Kansas. She survives of the home. He was a professional bird dog trainer and professional farm manager as well as managing his own farm.

He is survived by his wife, Linda of the home; three sisters-in-law, Betty Hottinger and husband, John of Queen Creek, Arizona, Bonnie Best of Queen Creek, Arizona, and Mary Ogden and husband, Richard of Liberty, Missouri; two brothers-in-law, Bill Youngs of Belton, Missouri and Bob Youngs and wife, Nancy of Warsaw, Missouri; cousin, Fran Williams of Chillicothe, Missouri; and several cousins living out of state. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be held at a later date. Cremation has been entrusted to Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to Avalon Cemetery and/or Forest O. Triplett Animal Shelter and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri.
