Richard A. Twesten Richard A. Twesten, age 94, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away at Indian Hills Retirement Village, on Saturday, August 8, 2015. He was born on February 24, 1921, the son of Richard and Hulda P. (Waechtler) Twesten, in St. Louis, Missouri. On April 15, 1944, he married Virginia A. Beasley in Union, Missouri. She survives of the home. Richard was an Accountant for General Electric for 35 years. Richard and Virginia moved to Chillicothe, Missouri in 1992 from Tyler, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Virginia; two sons, James R. Twesten and wife Deborah, of Linneus, Missouri, and Steven R. Twesten and wife Sally of Morgan Hills, California; three grandchildren, Kimberly Teigen of Sturgis, South Dakota, Stacy Twesten of Springfield, Missouri, and Leah Twesten of Morgan Hills, California; two great grandchildren, Samantha and Jessica Teigen, of Sturgis, South Dakota. He was preceded in death by his parents. A private family graveside service will be held at the Meadville Cemetery, Meadville, Missouri, on Monday, August 10, 2015, at 1:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
