Richard "Rick" Dale Peery

Richard "Rick" Dale Peery Richard "Rick" Dale Peery, age 62, a resident of Forney, Texas, former resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away at his residence, Forney, Texas on Monday, October 31, 2016.   He was born on January 30, 1954, the son of Wayne and Dorothy (Youngblood) Peery in Moberly, Missouri. He was a 1972 graduate of Chillicothe High School, Chillicothe, Missouri. On May 15, 1982, he married Mabel Seiffert in Mesquite, Texas. She survives.   Rick enjoyed camping, motorcycle riding, and deer hunting. He was a Heavy Equipment Welder/Mechanic.   He is also survived by his mother, Dorothy Peery, of Chillicothe, Missouri; his son, Brian and daughter-in-law Michele Peery of Midland, Texas; his daughter Michelle Bird of Vandalia, IL; six grandchildren, Elina, Erika, Elisa, Megan, Haley and Conner; two brothers, Lenny Peery and wife Martha of Jupiter, Florida, Chris Peery and wife Debby of Chillicothe, Missouri, one sister Lesa Albertson and husband Terry of Wheeling, Missouri and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne, sister Lora Peery, step-son, Patrick Bird and his grandparents.   A Graveside Memorial Service for family and close friends will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, November 16, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church Building Fund and may be left at or mailed to the Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
