Richard D Meehan

Richard D. Meehan, age 54, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2012, at his residence. Richard was born the son of James and Susan (Mitchell) Meehan on February 1, 1958, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He was a 1976 graduate of Chillicothe High School, Chillicothe, Missouri. In that same year, he joined the United States Navy and served for five years. He is a former member of the Mendon Masonic Lodge No. 628. Richard worked as a Security Guard at Bio Diesel Plant in Bogard, Missouri. Survivors include his mother, Susan Meehan, of the home; two brothers, Steve Meehan and wife Vanda of Raymore, Missouri, Pat Meehan and wife Penny of Ridgeway, Missouri; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father; paternal grandparents, Frank and Jessie Meehan; Maternal grandparents, Holly and Ilene Mitchell; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, December 29, 2012, at 1:00 P.M. There is no scheduled family visitation. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, December 28, 2012, from 12:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Forrest O.
