Richard W. McKiddy Richard W. McKiddy, age 77, a resident of Chula, Missouri, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2017, at St. Luke's Hospice House, Kansas City, Missouri.   Richard was born the son of Delbert and Pearl (Moore) McKiddy on July 24, 1939, in Wheeling, Missouri. He served in the United States Army from 1962 until 1964. He was united in marriage to Thelma M. Drake on June 19, 1960, in Eversonville, Missouri. She survives of the home. Richard worked for Iowa Pipeline Association for many years. He was a member of the Chula Fire Department, the Iowa Fire Association through Pacific Junction, Operators Union, and was an ambulance driver. He was also a member of the Vern R. Glick American Legion Post #25. He enjoyed fishing, scooter riding, and being with family.   Survivors include his wife Thelma of the home; two sons, Robert McKiddy of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Steven McKiddy of Chula, Missouri; a son by heart, Randy Gilless and wife Jackie of Pocahontas, Arkansas; three grandchildren, David, Dalton, and Marissa McKiddy; three sisters, Ruth Houghton of Manhattan, Kansas, Honor Booker of Payson, Arizona, and Lois Swain of Austin, Texas; many, many nieces and nephews; and several brothers and sisters-in-law. He was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers, Delbert, Frank, Kenneth, John R., James, and David McKiddy; and one sister, Jean Grimes.   Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, April 17, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri on Monday, April 17, 2017, from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Chula Fire Department and/or the Livingston County Veterans Memorial and may be left at the funeral home or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
