Richard McIntosh Richard McIntosh, age 65, a resident of Lee's Summit, Missouri, formerly of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2018, at his residence. Richard was born the son of James E. and Constance (Wilson) McIntosh on September 16, 1952, in Albion, Michigan. He was united in marriage to Susan Mary Garland on June 22, 1974. To this union, two children, Chelsa and Michelle, were born. Richard worked as a carpenter with his nephew, DJ McIntosh, in Excelsior Springs, Missouri. He was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. Survivors include his mother, Constance Chew of Chillicothe, Missouri; two daughters, Michelle Pipes and husband Les of Lee's Summit, Missouri, and Chelsa Minard-McIntosh and spouse Darlene Minard-McIntosh of Liberty, Missouri; one granddaughter, Keyonna McIntosh of Chillicothe, Missouri; two brothers, Donald "Donnie" McIntosh and wife Jean of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, and Robert McIntosh of Chicago, Illinois; three sisters, Sharon McIntosh of Grandview, Missouri, Karen Rediger and husband Chace of Olathe, Kansas, and Diane McIntosh of Kansas City, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, one hour prior to the service at 12 noon until 1:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, from 8:00 a.m. until service time. A private family inurnment will be held at Edgewood Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri, at a later date.
