Richard McCully Richard McCully, age 85, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2011 at Kansas City Hospice Palliative Care, Kansas City, Missouri. Richard was born the son of Webster and Gladys (Ford) McCully on January 20, 1926 in Chillicothe, Missouri. He served in the United States Navy during World War II and Korea. He worked as an owner/operator of McCully Motors in Chillicothe, Missouri. He was an avid golfer. Survivors include one sister-in-law, Eileen McCully of Chillicothe, Missouri; one niece, Marci Scott of Hamilton, Missouri; four nephews, Ray McCully of Moberly, Missouri, Edwin (Butch) Clark of Chillicothe, Missouri, Michael J. McCully of Chillicothe, Missouri, and James R. McCully of Chillicothe, Missouri; several great nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Klova, Olin, Burton, Webster (Jay), and Rex McCully; three sisters, Mavis Hopkins, Mildred Clark, and Helena McCully. Funeral services will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, October 11, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. A family visitation will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, October 10, 2011, from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and also on Tuesday, October 11, 2011, from 8:00 a.m. until service time.
