Richard L.W. Campbell Richard L.W. Campbell, age 94, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2017, at his residence. Richard was born the son of Harold and Sarah (Spence) Campbell on February 20, 1923, in Day, Pennsylvania. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1941 until 1947 during World War II. He was united in marriage to Donna Campbell on June 10, 1944. She preceded him in death on June 30, 1996. Richard worked for WCI Steel in Niles, Ohio for over 28 years. He attended the Souls Harbor Church of God, Chillicothe, Missouri. He was also a member of the American Legion and VFW in Ohio. Richard went on many medical missions with his daughter Dea. He also wrote many poems. Survivors include his daughter, Dea Campbell and friend Marlene Martin of Chillicothe, Missouri; several cousins, Robin Stone, Joshua Hackworth, Kevin Stone, and John Daniel Stone; and close friend, Diane Wasinger of Chillicothe, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Donna; one son, Gordon Campbell; and seven brothers and sisters. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
