Richard L. Becht

Richard Lyle Becht, age 73, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri passed away at Indian Hills Sunday, September 5, 2010. He was born on July 27, 1937 in Genesco, Illinois, the son of Paul Frey and Ruby Nellie (Kellums) Becht. On August 18, 1976, in Andover, Illinois he married Dorothy Collins. She survives of the home. Richard was a grain elevator operator and a Mason with the Sherman Lodge #535 in Orion, Illinois and a member of the Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of Illinois. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy of the home; two sons, Rodney Lyle Becht and Dennis Deshawn Becht; one brother, Charles Becht and wife Lucille of Osco, Illinois; one sister, Shirley Shaw of Burlington, Iowa; two grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Paul Becht. Graveside services will be held at the Cowgill Cemetery, Cowgill Missouri on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Friends may call on Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until noon at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri.
