Reva Carr Reva Carr, age 81, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2014, at Morningside Center, Chillicothe, Missouri. Reva was born the daughter of Robert Cecil and Bea (Sweeten) Baldwin on October 22, 1932, in Cainsville, Missouri. She was a 1950 graduate of Chillicothe High School, Chillicothe, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Ernest Junior Carr on September 1, 1951, in Bucklin, Missouri. He preceded her in death on November 9, 2003. Reva worked as a Functional Unit Manager at the Chillicothe Correctional Center where she retired on May 31, 1996. Reva also retired from Oats in 2012. She was a member of the Highview Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, where she enjoyed playing the piano. Reva was also a Past President of RSVP, participated in HMC Auxiliary, and shared her rag-time piano playing at several local nursing homes. Survivors include two daughters, Connie Anderson and husband Bill of Galt, Missouri, and Kathy Meinecke of Chillicothe, Missouri; two sons Jimmy Carr and wife Sara of Wheeling, Missouri, and Roger Carr and wife Kathy of Chillicothe, Missouri; two sisters, Imogene Grouse and husband Bob of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Janice Coyle of Florida; eleven grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one grandchild Tina Anne Gilliam; three brothers Don, Dean, and Wayne Baldwin; and two sisters Betty Grimes and Madilyn Pendelton. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, September 28, 2014, at 1:30 p.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, September 27, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, September 27, 2014, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at the Stucker Cemetery, Laredo, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Highview Baptist Church and/or Hedrick Medical Center Hospice and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
