Rebecca Kay Roof

Rebecca Kay Roof, age 41, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at Saint Luke’s Hospital Home Care and Hospice House, Kansas City, Missouri.
Rebecca was born the daughter of Dennis and Tammie (McBee) Williams on January 24, 1983, in Cameron, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Nicholas Roof on September 27, 2014, in Utica, Missouri. He survives of the home.
Rebecca accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at the age of seven. She was a member of Utica Baptist Church where she served as the Secretary and Treasurer. Rebecca was employed at Hedrick Medical Center for 17 years, and was the Director of Finance. She was a volunteer for the Grand River Heart Restart program and multiple youth organizations. Rebecca loved spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Nicholas; two sons, Emmett and Weston of the home; parents, Dennis and Tammie Williams of Utica, Missouri; two brothers, Randy Williams (Sherry) of Utica, Missouri and Clint Williams (Melissa) of Chillicothe, Missouri; mother-in-law, Donna Roof of Boonville, Missouri; brother-in-law, Seth Roof of Boonville, Missouri; grandmother–in-law, June Klinginsmith, of Unionville, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Richard Roof.
A Memorial service will be held at Utica Baptist Church, Utica, Missouri, on Monday, December 30, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. A scheduled visitation will be held at Utica Baptist Church, Utica, Missouri, on Monday, December 30, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Friends may call at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, December 29, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Inurnment will be held at a later date, at McBee Chapel Cemetery, Braymer, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to Utica Baptist Church and/or McBee Chapel Cemetery and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, PO Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri, 64601.
