Reba Nadine Silkwood Reba Nadine Silkwood, age 92, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2016, at the Baptist Home, Chillicothe, Missouri. Reba Nadine Silkwood was born on December 3, 1923, in Braymer, Missouri to James B. Clevenger and Jessie Reba (Yoakum) Clevenger. She was married to Virgil Eston Silkwood on December 8, 1941. Reba was a homemaker and member of the Braymer Baptist Church in Braymer, Missouri. Reba is survived by one daughter, Sandy Etherton and husband Jack of Liberty, Missouri; a daughter in-law, Marsha Silkwood of Clifton Hill, Missouri; four granddaughters, Deana Vornholt and husband Greg of Chillicothe, Missouri; Kim Everett and husband Willie of Modesto , California; Jana Etherton-Still and husband Chad of Liberty, Missouri; Mechelle Thompson and husband Jason of Mobile, Alabama; two grandsons, Ronald Scott Silkwood and wife Gina of Hamilton, Missouri; Clint Davenport of Clifton Hill, Missouri; one brother Donald Bart Clevenger of Braymer, Missouri; several great-grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Virgil Silkwood; son Ronnie Silkwood; two brothers, Herbert and Buford Clevenger; three sisters Maxine Hawkins, Louise Shaver, Mildred Redman. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, September 1, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri on Thursday, September 1, 2016, from 12:00 noon until 8:00 p.m. A private family inurement will be held at a later date at Evergreen Cemetery in Braymer, Missouri.
