Ralph R. Moffatt Ralph R. Moffatt, age 90, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2016, at Liberty Hospital, in Liberty, Missouri. Ralph was born the son of Ralph O. and Eunice (Mugam) (Rodgers) Moffatt on January 31, 1926, in Rosemark, Tennessee. Ralph was a 1943 graduate of Bolton High School, in Bolton, Tennessee. Ralph served in the United States Navy during World War II, from 1944 until 1946. Following World War II, he attended the University of Tennessee, graduating in 1951 with his Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Engineering. On May 9, 1953, Ralph was united in marriage with Aline Rawlings in Memphis, Tennessee. In 1972, Ralph and Aline moved to Chillicothe, Missouri, from Arlington, Texas. Ralph was a District Sales Manager for Allis Chalmers for 42 years. He loved having coffee with his friends at Hy-Vee and having lunch at Subway. He enjoyed volunteering with Operation Help and Joy Toys. Ralph also served on the Livingston County Zoning Board. Ralph's greatest accomplishment was his family, which he took great pride in and enjoyed spending his time with. Ralph's survivors include his wife, Aline; two sons, Bill Moffatt and wife LeeAnn of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Larry Moffatt of The Woodlands, Texas; two daughters, Linda Riley and husband Ray of Waskom, Texas, and Margaret Burson and husband Scott of Kansas City, Missouri; thirteen grandchildren, Ryan Moffatt and wife Christina of Des Moines, Iowa, Casey Narramore and wife Kristen of Marshall, Texas, Megan Rhodes and husband Kyle of Chillicothe, Missouri, Kara Alexander and husband Josh of Chillicothe, Missouri, Sean Narramore and wife Kelsey of Mineola, Texas, Jessica Burson of Kansas City, Missouri, Cory Moffatt of Springfield, Missouri, Heather Childs and husband Jason of Marshall, Texas, Shawna Burson of Washington D.C., Amy Moffatt of Chillicothe, Missouri, Aaron Burson of Kansas City, Missouri; AJ Riley and wife Melody of San Antonio, Texas, and Tony Riley and wife Ashley of Waskom, Texas; and thirteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, George Moffatt and David Moffatt. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the St. Columban's Catholic Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, November 5, 2016, at 9:00 a.m. A Parish Rosary will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, November 4, 2016, at 6:30 p.m. with visitation to follow. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, November 4, 2016, from 12 noon until 9:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri.
