R. Lee James R. Lee James, age 79, a resident of Braymer, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2012, at his residence in Braymer, Missouri. R. Lee was born in Hamilton, Missouri, on September 26, 1932, to Russell and Emma (Floyd) James. He graduated from Breckenridge High School in 1950. He married Dorothy Brown in Breckenridge, Missouri, on February 18, 1956. She survives of the home. To this marriage came three daughters: June, Janet and Janice. R. Lee was a life-long farmer and enjoyed fox hunting, fishing and his family. R. Lee served in the Korean War and was a member of the Tweedie Murray American Legion Post 117, the Braymer Fox Hunters Association and the Veterans of Foreign War of Chillicothe. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy James; three daughters, June Kost and husband Randy of Blue Springs, Missouri, Janet Rogers of Belton, Missouri, and Janice Hundley and husband Ronnie of Bogard, Missouri; sister-in-law, Sandra Brown of Chillicothe, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Patrick and Ashley Kost, Melanie Soule, Matthew Sieck, Kathy Lock, Mitch and Mark Hundley; three great grandchildren; and a nephew, Mike Jackson of Belton, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, on Monday, July 16, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. A family visitation will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, on Sunday, July 15, 2012, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at Lindley Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, on Sunday, July 15, 2012, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Braymer, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to Anderson Ball Park and can be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, MO 64601.
