Phillip Ray Watt, Jr. Phillip Ray Watt, Jr., age 52, a resident of La Monte, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2017, at St. Luke's Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri. Phillip was born the son of Phillip Ray, Sr. and Sharon (Ewing) Watt on September 18, 1964, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He was united in marriage to Betty Watt in 1992 in Excelsior Springs, Missouri. She preceded him in death in December 2011. Phillip worked as a truck driver for Waller Truck Company for 30 years. Survivors include his mother, Sharon of Sedalia, Missouri; two brothers, Thomas Watt of La Monte, Missouri, and William Watt of Richmond, Missouri; two sisters, Kim Little and husband Martin of Trenton, Missouri, and Elizabeth Randall and husband Mike of Sedalia, Missouri; two stepchildren, Angel Newman of Kansas City, Missouri, and Shawn Newman and wife Vanessa of Excelsior Springs, Missouri; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his father, Phillip R. Watt, Sr. A memorial service will be held at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, on Thursday, February 23, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. There is no scheduled family visitation. A private family inurnment will be held at Kingston Cemetery, Kingston, Missouri, at a later date.
