Peggy (Littrell) Gibbs

Peggy (Littrell) Gibbs Peggy (Littrell) Gibbs, age 80, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2014, at her residence. Peggy was born the daughter of Ross and Erma (Tiberghein) Rader on November 13, 1933, in Lock Springs, Missouri. Peggy graduated from Wheeling High School, Wheeling, Missouri in 1951. She was united in marriage to Gerald Littrell on December 6, 1952 in Wheeling, Missouri. He preceded her in death on February 14, 1983. She was then united in marriage to Vince Strange on February 15, 1985 in Maysville, Missouri. He preceded her in death on July 4, 1997. She later was united in marriage to Lee Gibbs on May 6, 2000 in Chillicothe, Missouri. He survives of the home. Peggy was a member of the 1st Christian Church, Wheeling, Missouri. She enjoyed spending time with her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids. Survivors include husband Lee Gibbs of the home; one son Barry Littrell and wife Cheryl of Cleveland, Tennessee; two daughters Paula Grozinger and husband Jim of Wheeling, Missouri, and Laurie Hardie and husband Joe of Chillicothe, Missouri; stepchildren Scott Gibbs and wife Sheila of Olathe, Kansas, and Tamarra Gibbs of Lexington, Missouri; two sisters, Norma Toot and husband Jerry of Wheeling, Missouri, and Patsy Holloway of Chillicothe, Missouri; eleven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two husbands, Gerald Littrell and Vince Strange. Funeral services will be held at the Christian Church, Wheeling, Missouri, on Monday, July 28, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. There will be a family visitation one hour prior to the service on Monday, July 28, 2014, at the Christian Church, Wheeling, Missouri, from 12 noon until 1:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, July 27, 2014, from 12 noon until 5:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Wheeling Cemetery, Wheeling, Missouri.
