Peggy J. Boxley Peggy J. Boxley, age 82, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2016, at The Baptist Home, Chillicothe, Missouri. Peggy was born the daughter of Larkin Aaron and Mable Leola (Helton) Seymour on March 9, 1934, in Mercer County, Missouri. She worked as a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for 22 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, where she was active in the church choir and the WMU (Women's Missionary Union). She enjoyed reading. Survivors include two daughters, Jenny Miller and husband Bill of Clarence, Missouri, Diana McCully and husband Bill of Lee's Summit, Missouri; six grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and two sisters, Lanita Thompson of Bethany, Missouri, and Elaine Willis of Mount Ayr, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents; one granddaughter, Rachel Donaldson; sister, Shirley Curtis and one infant sister. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, December 15, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, December 14, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, December 14, 2016, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Freedom Church Cemetery, Cainsville, Missouri.
