Paula Jean Hon, age 78, a resident of Breckenridge, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2023, after a long battle with cancer at her home in Breckenridge, Missouri, surrounded by her family.
Paula was born on November 18, 1944, in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Edward and Emma Jean (Pridgeon) Lynam. She worked as a self-employed CPA, working from home up until two weeks before her passing.
Paula was a member of the NATP, Tax Preparer Organization and she was an Enrolled Agent. She enjoyed all animals, especially horses, dogs and cats. She showed Tennessee Walker’s. She was one of the first females to ride a Tennessee Walker Stallion in the show arena.
Survivors include her daughter, Sherry Bishop and husband, David of Breckenridge, Missouri; one grandson, Dalton Bishop and fiance, Meranda Price of Kearney, Missouri; and Baby Bishop due February 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family would like to thank Dr. Kenneth Tan, the Hedrick Specialty Clinic, Dr. David Ernest and Three Rivers Hospice for their loving care of Paula.
Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, September 29, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. A scheduled visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, September 29, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will be held at Toner Cemetery, Breckenridge, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cherokee Nation Education Services, and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
