Paul Lloyd Holtman, age 86, a resident of Sumner, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at his residence.
Paul was born the son of Louis Henry and Aurelia Maria (Brandt) Holtman on March 13, 1935, in Creighton, Nebraska. He was a 1948 graduate of Mercer County High School. He was united in marriage to Patricia Lehman on March 14, 1957, in Madison, Nebraska. She preceded him in death on October 7, 2015. Paul worked as a farmer for most of his life. He loved spending time with his family.
Survivors include two daughters, Cindy Montgomery and husband John of Sumner, Missouri, and Kellie Holtman of St. Joseph, Missouri; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Roger Holtman of Dunlap, Missouri, and Gary Holtman and wife Doris of Mississippi; and two sisters, Joyce Courter of Dunlap, Missouri, and Marie Boyle and husband Gary of Trenton, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; and close family friend, David Meservey. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Patricia; one son, Mike Holtman; infant grandson, Michael Paul Holtman; two brothers, Robert and David Holtman; two sisters, Carine Holtman and Dorothy Holtman.
Private family funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, June 14, 2021.  There is no scheduled visitation.  Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, June 13, 2021, from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.  Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery, Mill Grove, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Paul Holtman Memorial Fund and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
