James Paul Fitzpatrick James Paul Fitzpatrick, age 75, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2014, at Indian Hills Retirement Village, Chillicothe, Missouri. Paul Fitzpatrick was born the son of Jean Wilson and Sylvia (Clark) Fitzpatrick on July 2, 1939, in Livingston County, Missouri. He was a 1957 graduate of Chillicothe High School, Chillicothe, Missouri. Paul served in the United States Air Force from 1958 until 1965. He was united in marriage to Linda Beaird on September 7, 1959, in Plattsburg, New York. She preceded him in death on March 12, 2013. Paul was an owner/operator truck driver for many years. In the last ten years he worked for M & L Trucking as a driver. Survivors include two sons, Russ Fitzpatrick of Chillicothe, Missouri, Billy Fitzpatrick of Charleston, South Carolina; one daughter, Paula Wyant and husband Scott of Linneus, Missouri; five grandchildren, Sean Fitzpatrick and Jessica; Kelsey Fitzpatrick and Nick, both of Kansas City, Missouri; Alex and Jenice Minnis of Lathrop, Missouri; Erica and Adam O'Dell of Springfield, Missouri; Adam and Fran Minnis of Liberty, Missouri; three great-grandchildren, Trace Minnis, Ryann Fitzpatrick and Temperance Minnis; and one sister Sharon Overton and husband Don of Chillicothe, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Linda Fitzpatrick; two brothers, Donald Rex Fitzpatrick and Billy Don Fitzpatrick; and one sister Ruth Young. The family would like to publicly acknowledge the excellent care Paul received at Indian Hills Retirement Village over the past 5 years. A private family memorial graveside service will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri, at a later date.
