Patsy Le Woods Patsy Woods, age 81, a resident of Warrensburg, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at Western Missouri Medical Center, Warrensburg, Missouri. Patsy was born the daughter of Manual Carl and Dixie (Johnson) Peterie on May 31, 1931, in Laredo, Missouri. She was a 1949 graduate of Laredo High School, and attended North Central Missouri College. She was united in marriage to Denny Payton Woods on November 13, 1949, in Kansas City, Missouri. He survives of the home. Patsy worked for the Wilson Township as a Township collector. She also worked as a bookkeeper for the Treasurer's Office at the Grundy County Courthouse, and for Nisbeth - Seidel Chevrolet. Patsy moved from Chillicothe, Missouri, to Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri, in 1991. Prior to living in Chillicothe, Missouri, she lived in Trenton, Missouri, and Laredo, Missouri. Patsy was very active in the Laredo School system, and the Busy Bee 4-H. She was also active in the Laredo Street Fair, and helped found the Laredo Youth Center, called the Tiger Den. She is survived by her husband D. Payton Woods of the home; one son, Philip Woods, and wife Jeanne, of Warrensburg, Missouri; one daughter, Pam Sager and husband Dean of Trenton, Missouri; seven grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Ronnie Peterie; and one sister, Angelene Coel. Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 23, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. at the Stucker Cemetery, Laredo, Missouri. There is no scheduled family visitation at this time. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, on Friday, November 23, 2012, from 9 a.m. until 12 noon. Burial will be held at Stucker Cemetery, Laredo, Missouri.
