Patsy Ann Mattox Patsy Ann Mattox, age 79, a resident of Tina, Missouri passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2011 at Saint Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born on July 14, 1931 in Tina, Missouri the daughter of Seth and Hazel (Grossman) Simpson. On May 22, 1949 she was married to Loren Dale Mattox in Tina, Missouri. He survives of the home. She was a member of the Coloma Baptist Church. She worked as a secretary for the Tina Avalon school district for 31 years. She also worked as a cashier for the Tina Oil and Propane for 15 years. She enjoyed spending her time sewing, gardening, and reading. Survivors include her husband, Loren Dale Mattox of Tina, Missouri; one son Roger and wife Barbara Mattox of Tina, Missouri; one brother, Douglas and wife Charlene Simpson of Kansas City, Missouri; five grandchildren, Alecia and husband Jason Spainhour of Kansas City, Missouri, Darin Mattox of Tina, Missouri, Janet Buck of Tina, Missouri, Timothy Mattox of Tina, Missouri, and Toni Mattox of Savannah, Tennessee; six great grandchildren, Cameron, Rachel, Hannah, and Nathaniel Spainhour of Kansas City, Missouri, Benjamin Buck of Tina, Missouri, and Anthony "A.J." Mattox of Tina, Missouri. She is also survived by nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one son Scott Mattox. Funeral services will be held at the Coloma Baptist Church, Coloma, Missouri, on Thursday, January 27, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. There is no scheduled family visitation. Friends may call on Wednesday from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. at the Lindley Funeral Home, Tina, Missouri. Burial will be in the Coloma Cemetery, Coloma, Missouri. In Lieu of flowers may be made to the Tina Avalon Music Department and may be left at the funeral home or may be mailed to the Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
