Patricia Sue (Zimmerman) Wise, 62, of Brookfield, Mo., passed away Sunday, July 4, 2021 at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe, Mo., due to complications from Covid-19.
Pat was born August 6, 1958. She grew up on the farm in Purdin, Mo., with her parents Valjean and the late John Robert Zimmerman.
She was a very talented artist who had a love of camping, butterflies, and her cats. She also enjoyed music and the jukebox so much that she named her daughters after songs.
She is survived by her mother, Valjean Zimmerman, Purdin, Mo.; daughters, Valerie Slatton and husband James, Chillicothe, Mo., Amanda McKay, Holts Summit, Mo., and Riannon Crandell, Brookfield, Mo.; brother, Ray Zimmerman and Chelsey Rhoades, Purdin, Mo.; grandchildren, Suzzanne Hibner and husband Hayden, Chillicothe, Mo., Liriel Dean and fiancé Michael Dale, Chillicothe, Mo., Felicia and Kaedence McCollum, Brookfield, Mo., and Jaxson and Alizabeth McKay, Holts Summit, Mo.; great-grandchildren, Oaklee and Madden Hibner, Traceson Moss, and Aaliyah and Elijah Dean, all of Chillicothe, Mo.; niece, Hannah Zimmerman and nephew, Aiden Zimmerman, Chillicothe, Mo.; aunt, Helen Howe and husband Jay of Chillicothe, Mo; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Anna; father, John Robert Zimmerman; brother, Tom Zimmerman; granddaughter, Mattie Dean; both maternal and paternal grandparents.
Friends may call at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, July 8, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri on Friday, July 9, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Masks are required inside the funeral home. Inurnment will be held privately at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Patricia Wise Memorial Fund, and may be left of mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
