Patricia M. Matalik, age 84, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, January, 17, 2021, at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe, Missouri.
Patricia was born the daughter of Thomas and Katherine (Spahnie) Trego on June 8, 1936, in Moline, Illinois. She was a graduate of Winola High School, Winola, Illinois. Patrica was united in marriage to Thomas Matalik on June 21, 1958, in Rock Island, Illinois. He preceded her in death on October 3, 2010. She enjoyed working with plastic canvas, and playing cards.
Survivors include two sisters, Joanne Buss of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Alice Aldrich of Pass Christian, Mississippi; one brother, Steven Trego of Indianapolis, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Thomas Matalik; two brothers-in-law, Richard Buss and Robert Aldrich; and one sister-in-law, Nancy Trego.
Cremation was held. No services are scheduled at this time. A private family inurnment will be held at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Spooner, Wisconsin. Memorial contributions may be made to the Patricia Matalik Memorial Fund and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
