Patricia Elizabeth Estes

Patricia Elizabeth (Maurer) Estes Patricia Estes, age 57, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at her residence. Patricia was born the daughter of Louis Maurer, Jane Russell, and step father B. Caddell on August 1, 1955 in Kansas City, Mo. She attended Raytown South High School. On June 25, 1971 she was united in marriage to Landon Estes at the Free Baptist Church in Raytown, Missouri. He survives the home. Patty was an honest natural woman who possessed a strong sense of right and wrong. She didn't believe in passing judgment or speaking ill towards anyone. Her family depended on her for her sensible advice and loving leadership. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Patty loved her family and husband dearly. Patty and Landon shared 42 years of a lifetime of memories, 21of those years in Chillicothe, Missouri. She is survived by her husband, Lanny Estes of the home; two sons, Shawn Estes, and wife, Diane, of Utica, Missouri, and Paul Estes, of Utica, Missouri; one daughter, Marie Kitchin and husband Chris, of Chillicothe, Missouri; four brothers, Jeff Maurer and wife, Debbie, of Overland Park, Kansas, Bill Caddell, and wife, Belinda, of Texas, Tim Caddell, of Texas, and Danny Maurer; one sister, Jill ann Farb, and husband, Ugo of Mississippi; nine grandchildren, Austin Estes, Jesse Estes, Garrett Estes, of Utica, Kristofer Kitchin, and Cheyanne Kitchin, of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Colton and Cody Estes, of Utica, Missouri; two great-grandchildren, Olivea and Timber Estes; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother and father; mother and father in law, one daughter Sharah Esters; two brothers, James Garner, and Louis Maurer Jr.; grandfather, Lavern Russell, and step father William Caddell. Services will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri. There will be a family visitation on Friday, December 28, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, on Friday, December 28, 2012 from 12 noon until 5:00 p.m. Burial will be held at a later date.
