Patricia was born the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth (Hayes) Black on April 20, 1937, in Kansas City, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Carl Ray on December 27, 1974, in Tina, Missouri. He preceded her in death on December 31, 2005.
