Patricia Ann Batye

Patricia Ann Batye, age 89, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Stonebridge Senior Living, Chillicothe, Missouri.

Patricia was born the daughter of Roy and Dorothy (Holman) Carter, in Macon, Missouri, on March 15, 1935. She was united in marriage to Charles Nolan Batye on October 13, 1951, in Huntsville, Missouri. He preceded her in death on April 1, 1995.

Patricia attended the First Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. She worked at Livingston Manor in the Housekeeping department for several years. Patricia liked going out to eat. She enjoyed sewing, shopping and going to Jamesport with friends. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest joy, she would see them every day if possible.

Survivors include one daughter, Sharon Pilcher and husband Jim, of Mooresville, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Marcy Key (Donald) of Purdin, Missouri, Tammy Jackson (Aaron) of North Kansas City, Missouri, Misty Schmidt (Kris) of Otterville, Missouri, Melissa Sallee (Kris) of Wheeling, Missouri, Jessica Krause (Aaron) of Maysville, Missouri, Colton Pilcher (Shayna) of Trenton, Missouri, Christopher Brannam of Mooresville, Missouri and Mendy Gray of Chillicothe, Missouri; several great grandchildren; one brother, Jim Carter of Macon, Missouri; one sister, Linda Watson of Atlanta, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles; two daughters, Vicky Bland and Teresa Anderson; two sisters, Mary Jo Wright and Lou Emma Tate; and two brothers, Dick Carter and Buddy Carter.

Funeral services will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. Friends may call at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. noon until 5:00 p.m. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri.
